Ska-Punk’n’Roll six-piece band Evil Turkeys are back on the scene with new members and a new single; ‘Better Man’. Available to stream on Spotify, Amazon, iTunes and all other major music platforms. Recorded by Dai Enos (Tree House Fire, Broken Nose) and released on Jamtown Recordings; it marks the first offering with new members Dasher and AdamD and is a more restrained and tender affair than anything on their self-titled, debut album. It is a reflection on the continued journey of self-improvement and the life-altering impact of raising a family to a sharp and stiff off-beat, delicate piano, sphagetti-western guitar and soulful saxophone.

After many years playing in various bands, brothers Rick and Ché Jones, guitarist Yogi and original bassist Rez formed Evil Turkeys in 2009 when they lived together in 29 Sunnyside Road, Bridgend. Mixing their mutual love of 2-Tone Ska, Rock’n’roll and The Blues Brothers and filtering through raw Punk Rock energy the band soon started building a fan base, gaining local press attention and taking their “frenetic and hyperactive punk and ska” original songs and covers further afield. Evil Turkeys have taken their “aorta bursting energy levels” to numerous pubs, clubs, festivals and iconic venues like The Dublin Castle and The Hope & Anchor in London whilst recording 5 EPs, a cover of ‘In The City’ by Madness for The Specialized Project, an album for the All Systems Go record label and two ‘mini-movies’ for their sold-out shows at the 500-capacity Porthcawl Grand Pavillion. The Aggro Movie ǀ The Good, The Bad & The Evil.

Evil Turkeys have been demoing new songs, have two singles to release after ‘Better Man’ and are looking to reach new ears for their music, get reviews and return to live performances, support-slots and festivals bookings.
